1. Some people go to therapists for years. What can I expect to get in a few phone calls?
Our therapists deal with problems faced by our clients on a current basis. Their goal is to help you resolve current issues in an efficient and thoughtful manner. My Therapy Network is a proponent of "solution focused treatment". Our professionals will help you understand the issues you face, work through the alternatives available to you, and offer assistance in helping you make choices.

2. Do I have a choice of therapist?
Yes. You can search our Therapist Database and choose a specific therapist. Alternatively, our Customer Service Representatives will perform this task and provide you with the CID (Counselor Identification Number) of therapists in your state that meet your needs and preferences. My Therapy Network has a diverse group of contract provider therapists.

3. Can I talk to the same therapist again?
Yes. When you make subsequent calls to My Therapy Network, you have the opportunity to enter your therapist's CID and then speak to that therapist.

If your therapist is not available, you may view the therapist's schedule on our web site or call Customer Service at 800.XXX.XXXX. for schedule information.

Further, you can email Customer Service and request your therapist be available at certain times. Customer Service will relate your request to the therapist and confirm their availability by email to you.

4. How often will my therapist be available?
My Therapy Network therapists are available 24/7/365. Each therapist has committed a minimum of 10 hours per week for My Therapy Network clients. You can ensure that a particular therapist will be available by scheduling a regular time for your call. If you are unable to schedule in advance, we will do our best to connect you with the therapist in your state who most closely matches your requirements.

5. Do you accept insurance?
No. However you may be eligible for reimbursement by your health plan. That, of course, will depend on the type of plan you have. You may request that My Therapy Network send you semi-annually an invoice reflecting the amount spent for counseling.

6. Are there any limits on my counseling session?
Initially, all My Therapy Network customers are limited to 60 minutes per week of counseling. This amount may be increased by contacting Customer Service at
800.XXX.XXXX. The limits are in place so that customers will be aware of the amount of time they are using the system.

7. Can I refer my friends to the same therapists that I use?
Yes. You simply give your friends your therapist's CID and when they call in, at the voice prompt, they enter the CID of your therapist. Therapists will maintain confidentiality with respect to each client.

8. What are my therapist's credentials?
Your therapist may be a psychiatrist, psychologist, licensed clinical social worker, licensed clinical counselor, or licensed marriage and family counselor. In all cases, your therapist will be licensed in the state in which you reside. All therapists are fully insured.

9. Can I get "couples counseling" for me and my partner with this program?
Yes. You and your spouse would simply both be on the phone with your therapist at the same time.

10. What about confidentiality?
All conversations with My Therapy Network therapists are confidential, as in any privileged, medical relationship. However, all therapists are required by their respective professional associations and certain state laws to report certain types of suspected behavior, particularly abuse. The disclosure laws of your state can be found under Terms of Service.

When you receive your monthly credit card statement, charges for My Therapy Network services will be billed as "NATIONAL SERVICES".

11. What if I don’t like the therapist I talk to, or I don't like your services?
My Therapy Network has a Satisfaction Guaranteed policy. If you are for any reason not satisfied with one of our therapists, simply call Customer Service at 800.XXX.XXXX and you will be issued a credit for the counseling minutes used, no questions asked. You can use these minutes to speak with another of our therapists.

12. How do I get started with a therapist?
To sign up for counseling services with My Therapy Network, you may choose to either call our Customer Service desk toll-free at 800.XXX.XXXX or fill out the electronic application on our website. You will choose your own 10-digit Access Code (e.g., a phone number with area code) and a 4-digit Security PIN which you will enter when you call My Therapy Network's toll-free number (
800.873.7100). The voice prompts will then direct you to a licensed therapist from your state.

13. Will My Therapy Network give or sell my personal information to third parties?
No. My Therapy Network adheres to a strict privacy policy. Read our Privacy Statement and Terms of Service for our full statement.
