The National Institute of Mental Health has reported that 50% of all Americans have some form of mental illness. While many of these people require treatment significantly more intensive than traditional counseling, there are many individuals who would avail themselves of professional help if it was easily accessed and in particular, if it was available at the moment of need. My Therapy Network LLC believes that it can provide the delivery of these counseling services to individuals at the time of immediate need. My Therapy Network contracts with licensed and insured therapists in every state to insure that it has counselors available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. MyTherapyNetwork LLC Requirements for Therapists: Every therapist whose application is accepted by My Therapy Network LLC must agree to log in to the My Therapy Network system a minimum of 10 hours per week. Logins at times other than those registered with My Therapy Network are permitted only with approval of My Therapy Network's Professional Services division (available 24 hours a day). My Therapy Network does not permit random logins by therapists. Each therapist must designate a default phone number to be used with the My Therapy Network system. However, the therapist can change this number to a different number at each log in to the system. This phone line (during the time a therapist is logged on) must be answered only by the therapist. It cannot have call waiting, call forwarding, or be attached to any other device that could answer the phone. It may be a fax or modem line, but only if such device is turned off during the hours that a therapist is logged in. Therapist Logins: After acceptance of a therapist's application, including a telephone interview by one of My Therapy Network's staff therapists the therapist will be assigned a counselor identification number (CID) and given the toll-free number to login and logout. The therapist will then enter an initial schedule of availability on the My Therapy Network web site. How the MyTherapyNetwork System works: Customers call in to the system using a toll-free number. They enter their Access Code and Security PIN and then have a choice of entering a therapist CID or speaking with the next available therapist from their state. Once connected to a therapist, the call is timed until it is ended. Therapists are encouraged to give their CID to the customer at the commencement of the call. The customer should not be asked for their name. The My Therapy Network system design insures anonymity and confidentiality. Professional Guidelines: My Therapy Network relies on the professionalism of its contracted therapists. Our therapists set their own limits in terms of the counseling they provide to our customers. My Therapy Network has Customer Service available 24 hours a day in the event that you determine during a call that the customer requires more than telephone counseling. Customer Service has complete referral information for our customers, both individual therapists as well as all governmental and private social service agencies in the customer's geographic area. Inasmuch as you are licensed by a particular state, the My Therapy Network system is designed so that therapists speak only with customers who are residents of their state. Therapists licensed in more than one state should submit licenses from all states in which they are licensed. Such therapists will be able to speak with customers from all states in which they are licensed. Compensation: Therapists will receive $1.00 per minute for each minute that they are counseling My Therapy Network customers. Compensable time starts when the therapists answers the phone and ends when the customer hangs up. Therapists will be paid on the 10th day of each month for compensable minutes from the previous month. Additionally, on January 15th of each year, therapists will receive an annual bonus equal to $0.05 per minute for each compensable minute earned by the therapist during the prior year. To be eligible to receive this bonus, therapists must have not had more than four (4) missed logins during the year without notice to Professional Services. Referrals: My Therapy Network will refer customers to therapists or social service agencies when requested by a customer or a therapist. My Therapy Network provides this service at no fee. My Therapy Network will, to the extent possible, give customers the names of at least three therapists when requested for a referral. My Therapy Network will include all its providers among its referral resources.
